2. FEATURES:

May be applied overhead, vertically and horizontally above or below grade. Superior adhesion. Vapor permeable. Ready to use, no field batching. Very low porosity. Excellent resistance to freeze/thaw cycling and chemical attack. Low shrinkage. High structural properties. Low rebound formulation. High abrasion resistance. Corrosion Inhibitor

3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

A. Surface Preparation: All surfaces must be clean and free of dirt, dust, paint, sealers, coatings, loose material, adhesives, curing compounds or any material that will inhibit patching material from coming in contact with the concrete pores. Tight, steel troweled concrete should be abraded or etched with sulfuric or muriatic acid solution, then neutralized to open up the concrete pores. Removal of any anti adherents or loose materials must be accomplished mechanically for proper adhesion, The concrete must have a fractured aggregate profile. For application with dry shotcrete equipment only. No water is to be added unless in the shotcrete nozzle.

B. Application: Dampen the surface thoroughly with clean water. Avoid standing water.

C. Curing: The formulation of Shotcrete HS minimizes the need for curing. However, application in direct sunlight or windy conditions may lead to rapid surface drying. The use of light water fogging for 48 hours, or a water based compound that complies with ASTM C-309 is recommended. Do not commence fogging until initial set has been reached; typically 1-2 hours depending upon ambient conditions.

D. Limitations: Ambient and surface temperatures must be 38° F. or above during application. Protect from rain until initial set has been achieved. Minimum thickness: 1/2 inch. Maximum thickness 4 inches in successive applications.

4. PACKAGING:

55 pound bag,

5. STORAGE AND HANDLING:

A. Shelf Life: 12 months in the original unopened container.
